Bishop Jerome Foundation is one of the agencies under the Diocese of Quilon entrusted with the responsibility of establishing and running technical and management institutions. Bishop Jerome Foundation is a Registered Public Charitable Trust. The Bishop Jerome Group of Institution are being set up by The Bishop Jerome Foundation. The Catholic Diocese of Quilon is the sponsor of the Bishop Jerome Foundation. The founders of the Catholic Diocese of Quilon were men of singular courage, ingenuity and appetite for social service. They had the hearts to see the state and needs of the society. Those men of glorious vision had the will and creative power to transform the down trodden Catholic Community. Out of their irrepressibly fertile minds and the intelligent cooperation of the people sprang up programmes of and institutions for the betterment of the diocese. A First Grade College, a Training College, a College of Nursing, Industrial Training Centres, numerous schools, first rate hospitals and welfare centers are monuments of service of these men of vision. More than 90 per cent of the educated people of Kollam owe much to these diocesan educational institutional. The diocesan authorities who are for ever passionate about the well being of the local community are still looking for greater, better and nobler ways of social service..
