Bishop Jerome School of Architecture & Design is a part of Bishop Jerome Institute, Kollam, under the management of the Quilon Diocese of the Latin Catholic Church.

Established in 2010, the School of Architecture & Design has an annual intake of 40 students and is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
The strength of the School lies in an excellent team of core faculty constituted by experts in various fields of study in Architecture, supported by a strong team of visiting faculty comprising eminent practising architects and the dedication and talent of the students. The results attained by the students of previous batches are commendable.

Council of Architecture
As per the agreement with the State Government, 20 seats will be Government seats and the other 20 will be Management seats. Government seats will be filled from the list of the Commissioner for Common Entrance Examination. The remaining seats are filled by the Management without collecting donation of any form.
Hostel accommodation is available for male and female students separately. Hostels are run by Rev. Priests for male students hostle and Rev.Sisters for female students hostels.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) of 5 years duration- 40 seats.
Admission is offered only to eligible candidates as per prevailing Council of Architecture (CoA)/ University norms.
The candidate should be an Indian Citizen
Applicant should have completed 17 years as on 31st of December 2020 and there is no upper age limit.
B.Arch. is a 5 years course consisting of 10 semesters including practical training and thesis. 1st and 2nd semesters shall be combined. Intake volume is 40 seats. (Number of seats might increase as and when permitted by the (CoA) and the Affiliating University. (A.P.J. Abul Kalam Technological University)
The Fees details are mentioned in detail in the brochure [page.# 8 ] Please note that the student has to pay the fees every year (That is 5 years) on the first working day of June every year. The fees mentioned herein is as per the Agreement with the University and Government orders issued there on for the academic year 2020-21. Any caution deposit paid will be refunded at the time of issuing TC and that too only as crossed cheque.
Computer-aided design is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. CAD facilitates easier development of products and product management integration. It also helps greater modeling and even provides a basis for virtual networking. In the engineering world, CAD is extremely important and is widely used to design and develop products. Training is imparted to the students on software such as AutoCAD and Photoshop.
